I=index finger (pointer)
M=middle finger
A=ring (or fourth) finger
For PIM,
P plays, I and M both prep
I plays
M plays, while P preps
repeat.
Remember, one step at a time. Master each of the 3 steps above as it's own, crisp movement. Make sure your middle knuckles move in toward the guitar when you play (instead of bicycling).
