Q: What’s Memebox Radio?
A: Originally DOGC Radio, we are now Memebox Radio! DOGC Radio x Memebox Radio is not an official product of the Doge Club NFT. The radio was created by the community, for the community. Memebox Radio is proud to be the first MEME radio of Web3 representing on Web2, and the only 24/7 streaming radio that rewards it's listeners! Memebox Radio is an extension of Memebox Labs.
Q: Why does the stream pause and start shuffling?
A:This radio uses an extension which allows it to play directly from a playlist. Occasionally that playlist will reshuffle the music to a new pattern. This makes the music play at random rather than a permanent loop. Allow 1-3 minutes for the shuffle to end before resuming. Our tech is working on reduce this shuffle time.
Q: Will the stream end at any time?
A: There may be an event where the radio is down temporarily. However, the server this radio runs on guarantees over 99% uptime. If the stream goes down, please support us by liking the video. When a live stream goes off-air the likes reset.
Q: How many songs are there in the playlist? How can I add these songs to my own playlist?
A: Over 600 songs have been curated. Shazam is a great app for finding artists and music. The radio does provide information on the bottom left of the stream. Many of these songs can be found on Spotify.
Q: Why don't I hear my favorite songs from the radio, like Tiesto, David Guetta, deadmau5, or Calvin Harris?
A: Doge Club Radio limited to certain songs due to copyright laws and licensing. Doge Club Radio wants to expand and add more songs to the playlist.
Q: Who are you?
A: Some guy who really likes music and meme's.
Q: Where are you from?
A: Memebox Radio is from Web3 and the blockchain.
Q: Will the playlist ever change?
A: Some songs may be removed, and some added overtime.
