Want to be a better hip-hop dancer? Why not take lessons from a choreographer to the stars? In this video, Randy R.C. Connor, who has worked with Britney Spears, P. Diddy, Prince, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, and Jay-Z, teaches you how to do a sexy hip-hop routine.

My name is Randy R.C. Connor, choreographer to the stars. I've worked with Britney Spears, P. Diddy Combs, Prince, Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson, Jay-Z. We're gonna just break down some moves, that you can use at the club, at the parties, at home, in your bathroom -- just have fun guys, so let's get started. C'mon!

This is hip-hop routine number 2, we're just gonna take it up a notch. Alright, now, this one is a little bit more energetic, so remember breathe, but always have fun, it's all about having fun, alright. And it goes a little something like this: 1 and 2 and 3, 4, ok, 5, 6, 7, 8; 1 and 2 and 3, 4, ok, 5 and 6, 7 and 8, alright. So we have 1 and 2 and 3, 4, yeah, 5 and 6, 7 and 8, yeah, ok. Let's start that again. So we have 1 and 2 and 3, 4, 3, and 4. Ok, 5 and 6, yeah, 7 and 8, alright. Ok so we've changed it up a little bit, alright. Because I see that some of you guys are progressing, so that's a good thing, alright so. So we have 1 and 2 and 3, 4, open, 5 and 6, 7 and 8, ok. It's all about that attitude, alright, again. Step 1 and 2 and 3 and 4, open, 5, 6, 7, 8, ok. Excellent, let's try that with some music, let's see how that feel. 5, 6, 7, 8, 1 and 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, nice. So that's the attitude, alright. You're gonna get to the steps, but that's the vibe right now. Ok, so let's take it slow, 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8. Ok, one more time here we go. 5, 6, together on 8, 1 and 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, nice. Ok, moving on. Actually let's do that one more time, together, and 5, 6, 7, 8, 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8, good! Nice! Next step, we have kick. Ok so this is kick, ball change, together, open, yeah, alright. So we have 8, kick, ball change, together. Alright really simple, so we have 8, kick, 1 and 2. So all you're doing is you're switching, you're going kick, and place, alright. Here we go, kick and place, you're turning full circle to the front, and you're opening, alright. Open, drop, ok, so you're going open, drop, yeah, alright. So from 8, 8, 1 and 2, 3, 4, drop, yeah, excellent. Let's mark that from the top. Ok we have 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8, ok now 8 is here, boom at your audience, alright that's attitude right there, it's just throwing your arm and bringing it around, nice full circle, throw, bring it around, kick, ball change. So this should be a nice smooth transition, you wanna go here to here, so that the idea, you're going throw, ba! Ok, nice and strong, boom, bam, ba, turn, open, yeah, drop. Ok, and the drop is right here, drop, nice and strong, ok, good. Alright let's just mark that from the top, really simple, really cool, take your time and breathe easy.
