JMI Live has hosted quite a variety of bands and styles, but one instrument that has never been seen here is the Pedal Steel Guitar. One of Australia’s finest proponents of that instrument will be making his JMI Live debut, in the company of regulars Jamie Clark (guitar), Helen Russell (bass & vocals) and Kym Ambrose (drums). Michel’s career has seen him playing with not only a long list of country luminaries such as Troy Cassar Daly and Beccy Cole, but also swinging it with the Feral Swing Katz and Australian all-star jazz group The Catholics. The group will be presenting some jazz classics with a little country swing on the side.
