In this lesson I show you how to play my version of a Stevie Ray Vaughan style blues shuffle in E. It's one of those grooves that can take a bit of getting used to in order to play it with the right feeling, but once you do get it, you wonder why it took you so long to learn it as it's really only 3 chords and a few notes! The tab I've written out is meant as a guide, (as all tab is, in a sense), so try to follow what I'm playing to get a more accurate understanding of the right groove and feel. Also I intended for this lesson to be much shorter than it turned out, but ended up realising that it's important to go into detail about how to properly mute unwanted strings etc, so I hope it's not too lengthy for you.
