Well I woke this morning and I fell out of bed (a)

I took out the guitar and I pended this tune (a)
I overdid it over Christmas with the food and booze (e/d)
And I woke up this morning with the January blues (a)
Now I said to myself there’ll changes around here
Cut down on the take aways and stay off the beer
I said I’m going to the gym, going to go everyday
I’m going to learn a new language and run 100k
It’ll all probably last a week
I’ve got the january blues, Jesus january’s bleak
At Christmas I saw every one of my friends
Now I never wanna socialise again
Gonna stop drinking wine on a school night
If it’s a special occasion well then i might
Like a birthday or a wedding or im watching tv
Look its January man I can’t survive on tea
It’s so damn dark and dreary out there
So I’ll declutter the clutter under the stair
I’ll go through the wardrobe only keep what I need
Why the hell do I own so much tweed
So I go downstairs put em all in the bin
But 20 minutes later, take em back out again
Gonna reduce my carbon footprint, and eat less meat
Give up smoking, drinking, sniffing glue, dairy and wheat
Gonna donate to charity, support a good cause
Visit my Granny, say vase not vase
I’m gonna be better, gonna make a fresh start
Ah who am I kidding man I’m falling apart
I’ll get a personal trainer to get me fit
I’ll run around the park until I’m sick
Make a vegetarian lasagne
Learn how to play the harmonica
