In this section, Patrick will be sharing insights and experience as a professional keyboardist, useful tricks and tips on enhancing the skills and techniques in pursuing a career in the music industry through demonstrations and live performances. Not only will he perform with two musicians as a Jazz Trio (Piano, Bass, Drum Set), he will also explain the music he especially picks and arranges for this occasion. In addition, he will share with audiences some of the great moments in his jazz music career.

About Patrick Lui
Patrick is an award-winning pianist, keyboardist, composer, arranger, and producer, who is also a part-time lecturer for HKBU’s BMus program. He was the winner of the Marvin Hamlisch International Music Awards (Jazz Composition, Emerging Division), the Taichung Jazz Piano Competition and a semi-finalist at the Bucharest International Jazz Competition. Patrick is also very actively involved in the film scoring area which he has contributed to score for three feature films including The Bounty, This is not what I expected, and Chasing the Dragon. In the Pop Music field, he is the frequent collaborator with Rubberband and their works were loved by many and received widespread acclaim.
